Leith Festival Football - Pilmeny crowned champions

The first ever Leith Festival U12 6-a-side football tournament was held at Leith Community Centre on 15 June with youth clubs from Leith particpating in the event. After a hectic three hours the younger Pilmeny Squad of 8 players truimphed in a thrilling final v Sikh Sanjog with a 2-1 win. Young Mark Stewart was the hero with a winning stike in the dying seconds. The lads and the youth centre would like to thank Lotte Walters (Leith Festival and Leith Community Centre CLD) and local company 3v2 Soccer Academy who jointly organised the event and the lads were all very pleased with their Medals and Certificates.
